Turning high-complexity problem spaces into clear, scalable Enterprise SaaS experiences. Now designing and shipping AI-enabled products, hands-on.

Consumer design asks whether people will want it. Enterprise design also asks whether they're allowed to use it, who signs off, and what happens when it goes wrong.
Two decades in compliance, healthcare, insurance, and telecom taught me to design for that. Few people who build quickly with AI have designed for enterprise, and few enterprise design leaders have built with AI. I've done both.
A security head buys it, engineers use it, an admin configures it. Each needs a different experience from the same product.
Who can see, edit, and approve is the design, not an afterthought.
Approvals, audit logs, and evidence aren't features; they're why the product is trusted.
Existing tools, data, and habits decide adoption more than polish does.
Many teams and many workflows need a design system and standards that hold.
Building and leading design organizations shaping team structure, standards, and culture to scale design impact across products.
Helping early and growth-stage SaaS products navigate 0→1 and scale, designing systems that evolve with the business.
Influencing product strategy through user insight and systems thinking, ensuring design decisions scale with complexity.
Deciding where AI fits in a workflow: what it prepares, what a person decides, and how its output stays clear, checkable, and safe.
Taking products from idea to production with AI-assisted development, while holding releases, testing, and quality to a professional standard.
Design systems, guidelines, and workflows that AI coding agents can follow, so speed does not cost consistency.

Reimagined security compliance for modern startups. Scaled from an early-stage tool to a market-leading enterprise compliance platform, supporting the company's growth from 0-1 & 1-10 growth phases

Since 2025 I have been designing and shipping pilot products with real businesses, end to end, using AI-assisted development. They run with real businesses, and each one taught me something about where AI belongs in a workflow.
Lessons from shipping pilot products since 2025, and how they shape the way I lead design.
AI drafts the work, such as triaging an inbox, reading an invoice, or flagging what changed, and a named person accepts, edits, or rejects it. A good assistant also learns: it works from procedures you teach it and asks before it acts. Trust comes from that loop.
Before deciding what AI should do, decide what it must not receive. Staff and patient names stay out; the model works from codes and counts.
In the hospital system each AI job has a backup model, and if none is available it falls back to plain rules and says so. In the stock app for service businesses, a regular barcode scanner is the fallback when AI can't identify a product. Every AI call is logged.
When agents write interface code, the design system has to be readable by them, with tokens, rules, and examples they can follow and a way to check the result.
AI makes building fast. The hard part becomes choosing the right problem, the smallest useful version, and what not to build.
Each pilot runs with a real business. Watching people use it, and turning their requests into fixes, taught me more than any spec. One has been in near-daily use for months without a new request.

Dec 2000 — Feb 2008I am a product design leader with 20+ years of experience building, scaling, and leading design teams for complex digital products, primarily in Enterprise SaaS and platform environments. I focus on turning ambiguous, high-complexity problem spaces into clear, scalable, and usable products that drive sustained business growth.
Most recently, I led design through 0→1 and 1→10 growth phases for a high-growth SaaS platform, helping scale the product into a top-tier enterprise compliance solution. My work spanned experience strategy, design systems, team building, and close partnership with Product and Engineering to ensure design directly influenced product outcomes.
Earlier in my career I worked across consulting environments in Healthcare, Insurance, and Telecommunications, which sharpened my ability to operate in complex, regulated domains and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. That foundation enables me to bring product judgment, execution rigor, and systems thinking to product organizations, balancing hands-on craft with leadership, speed with quality, and vision with delivery. It is also where I learned that enterprise is a different job: buyers, roles, approvals, and audit trails shape the design as much as the end user does.
Since 2025 I have extended that with hands-on AI work: designing and shipping pilot products with real businesses, and learning where AI genuinely helps a workflow and where a person needs to stay in charge. It has changed how I think about design systems, team workflows, and product speed, and it is something I now bring to every leadership and consulting conversation.
I am particularly drawn to product-led organizations where design is expected to scale, shape strategy, and create long-term impact, and where AI is treated as part of the product craft, not a feature on the side.
